Chapter 429

• "You didn't tell Poppy about what happened?" I ask as Amelia and I stand on the front door step and watch Poppy 's car drive back down the driveway.
• "No, I didn't tell anyone and I'm not going to" She replies with a small shrug.
• "Why not?" I ask her. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that I don't have to try and defend myself to all of our families and friends over the awful decisions I made. Amelia leans against the door frame and folds her arms across her chest, sighing softly.
