Chapter 340

• Throughout the evening, once the meals are done, people begin to switch seats to join new conversations. The band has since stopped playing and it makes conversations much easier. Eventually it ends up with Poppy , Sarah and Francesca up at the head of the table with me. Thankfully for Rhode , Mitch has moved beside him and is saving him from having to be involved in our conversations. I don't do much of the talking, instead I enjoy the back and forth between the three girls as they discuss the latest fashions and which trends they hate that seem to return everything the weather gets cold (mainly ugg boots and fingerless gloves).
• "Back in a bit bub" Rhode tells me, giving me a small kiss on the cheek before disappearing from the table.
• "I bet you can't wait until that little man is here, you'll get to dress him up in such cute little outfits!" Francesca says to Poppy excitedly.
