• Briefly, Bianca lifts her phone up and mumbles a quick 'thank you' to me before she helps to settle Briella into her tiny little pink bed. Soon, I'm running through the story that my mother used to tell me off the top of my head, revelling in the way Rhode watches me in our corner box on the edge of the screen, slowly playing with my hair.
• As I sit there and retell the story of a somewhat fussy princess, I can't help but think about how incredible my life is right now. When I imagined what I wanted for myself in the future, I would never have even allowed myself to think that my life would be as good as this. I know it may not last forever, but I wish there was a way that I could ensure that it would.
