Not because I'm scared that I'll be tempted to take Kateup on her offer, it just gave me an unpleasant reminder of what my life used to be like. I don't want those memories to taint New York, I'd much rather make new memories here with her.
She gives me a loud sigh and tilts her head to the side slightly. "Rhodes I can't I'm sorry. I would only be there for like two days and I'm too nervous to fly there on my own. I'm sorry, but maybe once school is done for the year you can take me"
Does that mean when she's done for Christmas or at the end of the school year in like May? That would be stretching to the end of the six month contract. Honestly fuck that contract, I hardly agree with any of the things I first wrote on there anyway. Now all the things I wrote down in there I want her to do because that's what she chooses to do, not because I told her to. I used to worry that as soon as the contract was over she was going to just leave, but ever since she asked me to stop paying her I no longer think that will happen. I had to actively try and stop myself from feeling certain ways because I wasn't sure that she would stay, but now that I know that she is, I can let myself feel however the fuck I want about her.
