Chapter 457

• A few moments later I hear her car start, drive out of the garage and travel down the driveway. Juni senses it and immediately begins to let out small cries and whimpers.
• "Thank you for waiting until your mum left the house to start this. She might not have left if she knew you were upset" I tell Juni as I pick her up out of her basket and cuddle her close to my chest.
• "It's alright, I'm here, I've got you" I whisper to her as I start to slowly walk around the room, bouncing her gently as her cries continue. "Mumma will be back later I promise, dads got you" I reassure her as I walk down the hall and back again.
