Chapter 301

• "By the way, I talked to my mum today" Amelia states after a mouthful of food. She hasn't talked to her since we were in New York and she told us she was being released. I hope Amelia's not about to tell me that they changed their mind and want to keep her longer.
• "How's she doing?" Amelia smiles before she responds to my question.
• "She's really good. She had a job interview at one of the local florists and they want to have her on part-time. I think she'll be really good at that, she loves her gardening" Her smile beams with pride as she sits back and lifts the wine up to her lips again.
