Chapter 355

• "Hello love" Mum calls out quietly from the doorway as her and Claudia arrive. I climb out of the recliner and walk over to the two of them, giving them each a hug. "How's our girl doing?" Mum asks as she walks over to Amelia's bedside, she's still asleep thankfully. It's good when she's asleep, it means she's not in pain.
• "The physical therapist was happy with her range of movement today, the doctor read through the notes and said she can go home tomorrow morning" I inform them both as Claudia stands by her beside, softly stroking her hair. Claudia has been great throughout this whole thing, she and mum have been sleeping at the apartment and bringing things back with them along with swinging by the new house to check on progress. And she's been so strong, I was worried about how she would be when I told her the news about Amelia.
• "That's great news, have you told her yet?" Mum asks as she stands by my side, rubbing my back softly.
