• Upon arriving at the sixth floor, Ruan Shishi was thinking of asking any attendant she could find about Yu Yimo’s room. Instead, she was greeted by a woman in a black uniform who was gazing at her with her sharp eyes. Her gaze sent chills down Ruan Shishi’s spine, but she knew she would seem suspicious if she just turned around and walked away. Therefore, she braced herself and confronted the woman.
• “I haven’t seen any one of you here the whole day. Has everyone been slacking off?!” the woman growled while pointing at her. “You! Come here!”
• With her head hanging low, Ruan Shishi immediately did as told and walked closer. She then caught a glimpse of the tag on the woman’s chest and asked, “Yes, manager? What can I do for you?” Now that she was wearing this uniform, she couldn’t afford to take any risk that could blow her cover. Otherwise, she would be driven away from the building.
