• I stood with Slade in his room as I put my jacket on and looked at myself in the mirror. Regen, Rafael, Liam and Leon stood to one side. They were wearing varying shades of purple ties and gray shirts under their jackets.
• My own shirt was a light gray and my tie was the same shade as Blaise’s eyes. We were all wearing black suits and dress shoes. Harper had insisted that I get my hair cut and we were all forced to shave. She called us pretty and every single one of us had glared at her.
• Kai entered the room and gave them all a look as they scrambled out of the room. Kiran laughed as he kept the door open and closed it behind him, joining us. I smiled as I turned away from the mirror and Kiran nodded approvingly.
