• I stood to one side as James continued his interrogation on the rogues. They were in different cells being questioned at the same time. I didn’t really condone torture but they wanted to harm Storm so I had no empathy with what was being done to them now.
• I could just make them confess but where was the fun in that? I wanted them to talk of their own volition and confess Izak’s plans which I already knew of from the witches. I listened as a few of them confirmed the witches' memories.
• “Kill them,” I said as I stepped out of the shadows.
