Chapter 897

I entered Storm’s mind and I saw the realization in her eyes as she felt me inside her head. She didn’t stop me and she relaxed as I lessened the pressure from her shoulders where I held her. I went through everything and Storm gave me access. I went as far back as her childhood memories and her whole life lay bare in front of me. I felt it again, that unmistakable bond, that feeling of falling, the pull of gravity.
I couldn’t help myself and I leaned in closer against her and pressed my mouth against hers. She opened up to me instantaneously and our tongues dueled together. Her scent engulfed me and I broke the kiss off before I pitched another tent in her presence.
“I’m sorry,” I said as I let go of her and turned around.
