• Dezrael’s pregnancy had been a relatively easy one but she hated every minute of it. The bigger her stomach grew, the more Sean distanced himself from her. She could understand his irritation but not his distance.
• She had been eight months pregnant when Sean’s anger was finally given a voice. “I don’t understand why you had to do this!” He was pointing to her stomach and Dezrael had just about had enough.
