Chapter 829

• I was patiently waiting for Levi’s phone call. I needed a diversion to get Sean to notice me, to pull me in deeper. I wasn’t getting anywhere with Jordan and for some odd reason I couldn’t read any of them, I only had my gut feeling to go on.
• Levi phoned me at noon to say that he had arrived and would be waiting outside the bar from 10 PM onwards. We went through the plan once more and I was satisfied that it would work. I met Sean, Jordan and the four other Prospects at the bar. Once in a while Sean would go with Jordan to the bar and entertain the Prospects.
• He called it a bonding session, but mostly he watched the Prospects to see who and what they were when they were under the influence. It’s how he weeded out the ones that could possibly go off the rails. It wasn’t an entirely bad idea.
