Chapter 561

• I loosened my grip on everyone, and poor Jace was literally squashed beneath me. I got to my feet and looked around. Bullets tore into the furniture around us, dishes cracked, and wood splinters were flying everywhere.
• I was shocked and surprised that my spell had worked, and had taken all three of them with me into the other realm. Levi was crouched protectively over Malachi with his head bowed down. Jace looked up at me as he shifted into a sitting position.
• I could smell the gunpowder, blood, and food. The permeating smell of alcohol filled the air as the bottle of Scotch exploded and Jace flinched.
