Chapter 805

• I didn’t sleep well and my dreams were plagued by images of Noah and Jo together. The pain was so real that it woke me up and I blinked my eyes a few times in confusion. ‘It was just a dream,’ I told myself as I finally got out of bed.
• I showered and got dressed before heading down to the kitchen where I could hear Jo. I had no idea what to say to her. I knew myself. I wouldn’t beg and I wouldn’t force her, just like I hadn’t done it with Jules. It wasn’t in my nature.
• “Are you going to talk to me about last night?” Jo asked me when I finally made it to the kitchen.
