Chapter 518

• I spent my two-week suspension holed up in my room. Kiran increased my training and Adara barely spoke to me. Everyone treated me with kid gloves and I hated every second of it. I went to school for the last time and graduated.
• The girl had also been noticeably absent. I went to work with Kiran, went to extra training with Levi and my mother’s angry face was ever present. I had some relief at night because she didn’t haunt my dreams and I almost felt like myself again.
• I graduated with honors, much to my mother’s surprise but it was mostly thanks to Saga. I smiled automatically for the pictures and it was the first day that Adara actually talked to me without glaring at me. We took the mandatory family photos that I knew would be framed and put somewhere in the house.
