Chapter 893

• The biggest blessing of my life was Kiah. She was almost seven months old, sitting by herself and starting to crawl. She had everyone in the house wrapped around her little fingers and sometimes I had to use my Alpha tone to spend time with my daughter.
• It was a setup that worked for us although Sam mostly looked after her and took her everywhere. Her favourite pastime was when Slade was in wolf form and she would pull his ears and crawl all over him, laughing as she did so.
• She had the most beautiful laugh in the world and it was contagious as hell. My life was full and it didn’t take long before I couldn’t imagine my life without her. Most afternoons I napped with Kiah on my bed and I’d wake up with her hand on my cheek.
