Chapter 278

• Malachi went for Kiran and in his mind he could still hear him laughing. Malachi was on top of him as they fell to the floor, hitting him wildly as Kiran brought his arms up to protect his face. He could still smell Jessica's scent on himself but in his mind it was Kiran that smelled like her.
• “Malachi!” Kiran’s scream didn’t penetrate.
• He could hear Kiran’s heart slow down as he choked the life out of him and suddenly he was on the floor holding his head and screaming in pain. Malachi registered Kiran’s coughing next to him as he tried to breath and then the pain was just gone.
