Chapter 846

• Slade had registered us for school the previous week and our bikes were delivered that Saturday afternoon. The house wasn’t furnished and that first night we’d slept on the floor in our wolf forms. The weekend was spent buying furniture for the bedrooms and a couch and television for the living room.
• We’d realized the error of our ways when we had to order take-out since we had no appliances, pots or pans or plates. We’d both laughed as we stood in the kitchen, not even able to make a cup of coffee for ourselves.
• There were two master suites on the third floor so Slade and I each took one. Every room in the house had their own bathroom and there was a guest bathroom downstairs just off the dining room. It was a massive house, but we both liked the space.
