• The sun shone brightly and the sky was clear. Everything seemed perfect. The light breeze moved through the guests that sat on either side of a make-shift aisle on white wooden chairs. The navy blue carpet held flower petals and they lifted gently in the breeze before settling down again.
• I stood on the hill, overlooking the meadow. Soft violin music started playing and Thalia smiled at me as we all turned to where Levi stood. I heard the horse before I saw them, and Jo smiled at me as she came into view. Levi helped her down from the horse and her father took her arm.
• My breath was caught in my throat. She was beautiful and I could hardly believe that she was marrying me. It felt like time stood still as she walked toward me. I took her hand as her father opened his mouth, looked at me and closed it again. I smiled, wondering what it was he wanted to say to me.
