• I managed nine shots without spilling, but I was laughing too much at Jace as he danced next to me trying to seduce me, so I spilled the last one. The woman pouted, then laughed as Malachi spoke up, “Now you have to lick it up, Kai.” I blinked a few times and looked at Malachi. He was grinning like the cat who got the cream, and I shook my head.
• The woman put her hand on my neck and pushed my head down towards her chest as they all started chanting.
