• I woke up at 9 AM and I went downstairs as I walked through the quiet house. This would be my life without my kids, a quiet and empty house. I made coffee and looked at the note Jo had left on the kitchen counter.
• She was at the safehouse and Levi would bring the children home just before their afternoon nap. I logged into the camera system at the safehouse and I watched her as she walked down the hallway to her office and closed the door.
• I opened my text messages on my phone and started typing a message to her.
