Chapter 273
- I raced down Lowell Canyon Drive with Malachi next to me and Carl in the backseat. I skidded around the corner and raced towards Robert’s house.
- “Whoa, slow down, Kiran!” Carl said from the back seat and I slowed as I got to Robert’s driveway and parked the Navigator in the street. We got out and Robert opened the door just as I wanted to open the door myself.
- “You brought Malachi and Carl?” He asked me and I shrugged.
