• We stood outside what looked like an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Healdsburg. We all listened intently and we were quiet for a few minutes. I concentrated on their beating hearts that would soon stop beating.
• Blaise kept pushing the hate forward and I knew if I wasn’t careful, it would consume me, change me and I’d unleash havoc unto the world like an erupting volcano. I could feel the electricity as it gathered in my fingertips and I took a calming breath.
