• Lexi’s POV
• Taking a deep shaky breath, before I release it trying to calm down my nervous. If anyone would have told me that I would have three kids all under the age two I would have laughed at them. These dang kids are driving me bonkers. Mia’s birthday is in three days so, I’m trying to plan for the party, go over the guest list make sure I didn’t miss anyone, and order the presents online is hard enough. Add crying babies into the mix and I have a disaster on my hands. Someone up above must be watching over me, because mom walks in at that moment smiling. She has recently employed a new maid/ nanny to help her when she has the kids over at her house.
• Grinning up at her while rubbing my ready to pop stomach I say. “Hey mom, how are you doing today?” LJ is already at her feet tugging on her pants wanting to be held. She bends over and lifts him into her arms before she responds. “Well dear I thought you might like to enjoy an afternoon to yourself. I thought I might take the kids over to see their grandpappy.” I bolt upright to my feet and embrace her in a huge hug. “I would love that. Have you already asked Luca if they could go?” I see the frown appear on her face. I hate it that I have to even ask him. She is my kids grandmom they should be able to go anywhere with her without his permission, but that is not the world we live in.
