Chapter 55

• Lexi’s POV
• I hear the elevator door ding announcing that Luca finally made it. I go back to the foyer where he is currently standing. He has about six men with him, Marco is one of those six. True to her word Kristen hasn’t said a word since leaving the SUV, she has followed me around and recorded the events that took place. Seeing the look in Luca’s eyes made me approach him slowly. I reach around him and press the down button for the elevator. I keep quiet while waiting for the lift to come back up. Marco grabs Kristen’s arm forcefully and it takes me by surprise. I’ve never seen him be anything but nice to her.
• A sudden urge comes over me when I see Kristen’s face squint from the pain of Marco’s hold. I snap “let her fucking go right now, she hasn’t done a thing wrong. She hasn’t even said a word since we came up here.” Upon hearing this Maria jumps up and starts crying fake tears. “Lexi is lying to you. They both jumped on me that is the only way this week bitch could get me down. Think about it Luca do you honestly think Lexi could have destroyed this place that fast by herself.” Maria stood there lying about Kristen and I. This bitch is about to be taken down.
