Chapter 82

• Lexi’s POV
• Papa, mother, Luna, Margaret, Sofia, LJ, Mia, Alice, and myself are all still sitting in the living room talking. Alice is finally sleeping in the bassinet beside the couch. Mother is currently holding LJ, while papa is holding Mia. We all hear a Luca’s hammering out orders to his men he has stationed throughout the house. Both of my children’s eye’s light up when they recognize who the voice belongs to. Luca comes walking into the room, and both kids struggle to get down so they can go to him. It’s both sweet and sickening how much they adore him, when he doesn’t ever spend time with them.
• Papa and mother both light up when they see the reaction from the kids. I just plaster a smile on my face, because that is the only thing I can do. Out of the corner of my eye I see Margaret tense up. Being around Luca makes her nervous, and I can’t help but wonder why. Luca bends down and scoops up LJ first then Mia second. He goes straight to his mother and welcomes her with a kiss on the cheek. He greets his papa with a slight nod and saying “Papa.” Luca then makes his way over to me and sits down beside me. He kisses me on the side of my face just as he did his mother. Turning his attention towards Margaret, and starts talking to her.
