• Luca’s POV
• Seeing Lexi in so much pain kills me. I know she is only speaking the truth, but hearing her tell me that, I could just leave once we get her to the hospital, was a stab in my gut. Then when she confessed that she was glad I was here to watch the birth of our daughter, made my heart mend back a couple of the broken pieces. I didn’t notice in the car that Lexi was bleeding so much. It was only when the nurse said it while rushing her in. Trying to keep my cool on the outside while I was freaking out on the inside. ‘I can’t her, or my child. Oh god what if she dies, and never knows I much I truly love her.’ The nurse yelling “Sir, Sir, you can’t go back there. We have to do a C section due to your wife’s unconscious state. Please take a seat, and the doctor will be out to see you as soon as possible.” I just stood there watching the nurse storm in the room that Lexi was just took in.
• I pulled out my phone and called papa. “Hey son how is everything going? We were waiting until you called to come visit and bring LJ. Should we be on our way now, what’s the room number?” My mouth ran dry, and for the first time in many years I was scared. “Son, are you still there? What’s going on?” Papa impatiently said to me. “Lexi, had some complications. She passed out due to blood lose, and is currently in surgery getting a C section done. I wasn’t allowed back, so I’m sitting in the waiting room going crazy. Papa what if something happens to her, or the baby. I regret how I’ve handled everything; she doesn’t even know I love her. I can’t lose her not like this, or my baby girl.” I tell him while tears are falling down my face. “We’ll be right there son, just don’t do anything until we get there.” Papa said right before he hung up the call.
