• Luca clung to me and didn’t let go until we loaded up in the vehicles. Even after we were sitting inside the SUV, he reaches over to me and pulls me right up against him. I roll my eyes internally. Both Papa and mother have ridden with us. Which I am glad about. It makes the trip less awkward with the two of them with us. We drive into the city. My attention is immediately at my surrounding’s. Man, I would love just to be able to explore New York. Travel on the subway, go see all the famous sights, do all the things that a tourist do when they come to visit. I let out a sigh by accident, and Luca doesn’t miss this noise.
• I don’t even see his hand snake around and grab me by my chin. I only feel the pressure, and my head snapping his way. There is a fire in his gaze as he stares me down. I sink a little bit further into the leather seat I am currently occupying. The driver picks that exact moment to roll down the divider window and inform us that we were about to arrive. Luca gives a subtle nod to the man, before bending over to where his mouth is right at my ear. “Do not test my patience here tonight. This attitude that you have better be gone and a good submissive wife better appear. If you so much as cough out of place tonight, then I promise I will take your ass back to one of our safe houses. This time you won’t be coming back home with me and the kids. Do I make my self clear?” I quickly nod my head, while saying “yes” at the same time. This must satisfy Luca because he releases his hold.
