Chapter 115

• Lexi’s POV
• Being hurt by Luca time and time again has broken any trust that I have ever had in him. His words kept repeating in my head over and over again. I get lost in deep thought when I feel Luca grabbing my hand and leading us to the bedroom. He goes straight over to our bed and climbs in first pulling me in after him. He brings my back up to his chest and wraps his arms around me. ‘Well hell this is new!’ Neither one of said another word to each other instead we both drift off to a peaceful sleep. The next morning when I woke up, I felt an arm still wrapped around my waist. I glance over to see a sleeping Luca. I gently remove his arm and make my way into the bathroom and freshen up. When I come back out Luca is sitting up against the headboard with a smile on his face.
• I give grin back at him. Now this Luca I could get use to. I tell him, “I’m going to go check on the kids. Make sure they’re still sleeping. If I don’t come back then you know that at least one of them is up. Feel free to come help with breakfast if you have the time.” He nods at me. I don’t really expect him to show up I was just putting it out there to see what he would say. I check all my children’s rooms one by one. Just as I am closing Mia’s door, I hear Matteo cry out. I make my way to his bedroom, and pick him up. I change his diaper then head back to our bedroom where I can feed him. I made sure all the baby coms were turned on, so that I could hear them when they do decide to get up.
