• ‘Luca’s whore is pregnant. I don’t understand if he’s having babies with other women why does he insist on keeping me knocked up. This has to be the biggest slap in my face that Luca has given me. I’m kind of glad he keeps me locked up in here, that way I wouldn’t have to face anyone. I don’t have to wonder what people’s opinion of me is, because I now know. They think about me the same way I would think about another woman in my situation. I’d feel sorrow, stupidity, and be embarrassed for that week bitch. Lord, please help me out of this marriage. All I want to do is live a happy drama free life with my children, but that’s not possible as long as I’m with Luca. I’ll never know happiness, or what true love is.’ I’m lost deep in my thoughts when all of a sudden, I hear Luca yelling my name. I automatically start looking around for him.
• I spot him standing in the doorway that leads from the house to outside by the pool. He doesn’t look happy at all; in fact, he is wearing his Mafia Don face. His eyes look like their soulless, his mouth in a grim. The aura he is giving off would make a grown man scared. Both Luna, and Margaret divert their gaze to the ground. I can see Margaret physically shaking beside me. I glance over to Margaret and ask her. “Please excuse me for just a moment Margaret, I’ll be right back.” She nods her head excusing me. I struggle to raise up out of the chair, between my big belly, and holding Bella it isn’t an easy or fast task. Luca just stands at the door watching me, not offering to help me pisses me off.
