Chapter 79

• Lexi’s POV
• I’ve never felt so unsure of myself until now. Standing in front of Luca waiting to his decision rather to punish me or not. I finally get the courage to glance up so I can see his face. As soon as we make eye contact, I wish I had kept my head down. The way he is staring at me while rubbing his chin with his hand, is a given that he is in deep thought. I think to myself, ‘just go ahead and bend over the bed, and get it over with. It isn’t the first time I’ll be punished by his belt and won’t be the last either. The longer I let this play out the more I look week in front of him. I don’t need him, he’s the one that has to have me here. I don’t need to anger him any further no telling what he might do.’ I take a deep breath in and release it, while I stride over to the bed and bend over.
• I don’t say a word to Luca not wanting to let him know just how much he has hurt me. His strong voice breaks me out of my concertation. “Lexi, I’m going to ask you one time and one time only, who told you about Stacey being pregnant?” I can’t hold back the madness that has been building inside of me. “After me being honest with you about how I am feeling right now, and the reason why I was calling you. The only thing that you question me about is your whore. I really didn’t know if it was true or not, but now I do. Wow, so that is why your never around me or your kids. It’s because you have someone that is more important to you. Well I’m happy for you Luca at least one of us gets to have some kind of normal relationship with somebody that want to be with. As far as who told me, you should tell the guards they need to be quieter when they are gossiping. Now if you are going to discipline me then get it over with. If not, I have company outside, and that is a very rare treat for me. I don’t want to keep her waiting.”
