Chapter 74

• Lexi’s POV
• Looking at my reflection in the mirror I think to myself I don’t remember getting this big with my other two. Today is my seven-month check-up, last two visits we weren’t able to tell the sex of the baby due to the position they we’re in. I’m hoping today will be different. LJ crawls over to me and stands up using my leg. He is reaching his little arms up in the air, which means pick me up in baby language. I bend down and hoist him up on my hips, before sauntering over to his room for a baby wipe. He just got done eating and has sauce all over his face.
• Exiting his room, I make our way back to my room where Mia is still sleeping in the play pen. Luna walks in behind us and starts to pick up toys that have been scattered around. I sit down and start to rock LJ while patting his back softly, hoping he will go to sleep. While I’m doing this Luca walks in the room, he has a big smile on his face. He trudges his way over to us and places a kiss on top of my head. He has been in a good mood ever since that awful night at the club six months ago. Why shouldn’t he be, he gets to do anything or anyone he wants to knowing that nothing will be said to him about it. He doesn’t hide the fact that he has slept with multiple women. All I can do is just play nice, because it’s not worth fighting over any more. Slowly the love that I use to have for him have disappeared and hate has taken up its spot.
