• Lexi’s POV
• I spin around on the balls of my feet to see Luca stomping down the hallway towards me. I swallow the lump in my throat, along with all my courage. When I am in arms reach, he snatches my arm and starts yanking me back the way I just came from. One of his men has the elevator door opened for us before we reach it. I start trembling all over not only because I’m scared, but because I’m pissed off. I promise myself right then and there that I will leave Luca somehow, someway with all my kids. He’s going to know the truth meaning of a woman’s wrath.
• Luca pushes me into his VIP room upstairs, before releasing my arm with so much force I lose my balance and fall on the leather couch. "What the fuck do you think you're doing? Did I give you permission to leave? How dare you embarrass me in front of the other Don. I told you before we came tonight how important tonight was, but did you heave my warning? No, you didn't, so the only person you can blame for your punishment tonight is yourself. When we leave here instead of going home, you'll be going to stay at one of my apartments. For how long I’m not sure, by the way I’m feeling right there isn’t no guarantee that I will even allow you to come back.” Luca yelled out at me. Suddenly it was like someone knocked the breath out of me. I started gasping for air while I dropped down to my knees. Tears running freely down my face. I reached out for Luca but he took a step back out of my reach.
