Chapter 39

• Lexi’s POV
• I rinse my mouth out and brush my teeth. I head towards my bed and pick up my phone. I send a quick text to Luca, ‘hey can you please come up here whenever you get some free time. There is something I need to speak with you about.’ Walking back into the west wing living room, LJ is still in his play pen taking a nap, and Luna is watching some tv show. I take a seat beside her and pick up my book and read. Luca shows up about twenty minutes later, so we go to my bedroom to talk. “Thanks for coming, I just wanted to inform you that I’ve been sick, my period hasn’t come, my boobs are tender, I think I’m pregnant. I would like for someone to get a home test please, and if it’s positive can I make an appointment for the doctor?”
• Luca stands there with a blank face and just nods his head. “I’ll get the test now, and if it is positive then I’ll have the doctor do a home visit. Your still not allowed outside, for that stunt you pulled calling my father. Is that all you needed?” He says coldly to me. I give him a one-word answer “yes.” Neither one of us say nothing else, before we part ways. I go back to living room, and pick up where I left off on my novel. LJ wakes up, so I feed him. By the time I’ve gotten him settled down, Enzo walks in with a plastic bag. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him, so he sits down and we start talking. We both lose track of time, and before you know it hours have gone by. We’re still in deep conversation laughing about the first time we met, when Luca storms in. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing Enzo? I don’t remember telling you to come sit with my fucking wife for hours. Get the fuck out of here, and stay away from her.” He then turns to me, and tells me, “Bathroom now.”
