Chapter 67

• Lexi’s POV
• Today has been so great Luca, the kids, and I have just spent all day together as a family. Even though I was feeling sick to my stomach, I still had fun. We just put the kids to bed and now I’m getting ready to go to the meeting with Luca at his club. It feels like every time I go there something bad always happens, and it’s always major. I squeeze myself inside of a body corn dress that is a bright yellow color it’s sleeveless, and believe it or not I even found yellow high heels that matched my outfit perfect. I curled my hair and left it down, so it was cascading down my back. I put on my usual light make-up. I stood up and checked myself in the mirror, I looked hot.
• I was about to go to Luca’s office downstairs to let him know that I was ready to go when my phone dinged. It was a message from Luca saying he had to leave early, but I was to be at the club by 9:30 pm. I quickly glanced at the time and it was 9:01 pm. Not having any extra time to waste I headed outside to the parked SUV. My driver pulled up in front of the club at 9:27 pm, we had made good timing. I hastily made my way inside the club and upstairs to the VIP rooms. I knocked on the door and waited. Marco opened the door when he noticed it was me, he moved out of the way so I could enter.
