Chapter 30

• Lexi’s POV
• Kristen rushes me to the hospital, along the way she calls the doctor, Luca, mother, and Marco. I have the baby exactly an hour after I got admitted. My beautiful baby boy weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces and was 21 ½ inches long. He had his father’s complexion and head full of dark hair. He was perfect in every way possible. I tell mother ‘I guess all that talking I was doing to him, about wanting him to come out on his own worked.’ Mother informs me that Luca and Kat are here, so I decide to take a nap while they visited with our son Luca Junior going to call him LJ for short. I wake up about two hours later and only Kristen is left in my room. I’m so thankful for her, because I don’t want to be here by myself. LJ is sleeping quietly beside my bed in his bassinet.
• I spent three days in the hospital, mother and Kristen was there to bring me home. They get me settled in and Kristen spends about three hours before leaving. Mother is going to stay with me for a week just in case I need her. LJ is a good baby only cries when he is wet or hungry. Luca comes and visits him, but I keep to my room so I don’t have to see him. He asks about me every time he’s here, but mother just tells him that I’m not ready to see him, it’s still too hard. She takes pictures of him holding LJ and shows me after he leaves, I cry every time I look at the photos of them. During his last trip here, Luca brings Luna and says that she can live here with me to help me. I was over the moon about her staying here.
