Chapter 47

• Lexi’s POV
• I can tell he is thinking over everything I just told him, and frankly I don’t understand what is taking him so long to say yes. Everything I want is what normal people have in a marriage. Finally, after keeping me in suspense Luca responds. “Yes, I can meet those requirements. Things are going to be so different Lexi, I swear. I’ve already kicked Kat out of our house. I’ve sent the painters to the house for the nurseries and Luna is currently out buying new furniture. Thank you so much for giving me another chance, I know I don’t deserve it.” Luca confesses to me.
• It’s been three days that I’ve been in the hospital. Today I’m getting released and I couldn’t be happier. We decided to name the new baby Mia Renee, since Renee is my middle name. Luca hasn’t left my side; he actually has taken his showers in the small bathroom attached to my room. The doctor comes and gives me one last check over before signing the papers. Mother and papa are here also with us. They both have a proud look on their faces, when they see the four of us together as a family. Luca wheels me out of to the waiting SUV in a wheel chair, and we head back to our house.
