Chapter 119

• Lexi’s POV
• Luca doesn’t say a word to me, instead he finishes bathing me while I sit awkwardly in his presence. After he is done washing my hair, he stands up and pulls the plunger out draining the tub. He steps out and grabs a towel and wraps it around himself first. Then he reaches for another one and opens it up waiting for me to stand so he can dry me off. Not being able to look him in his eyes I slowly rise to my feet, and step out of the tub. He makes quick work of drying me off. After that we both brush our teeth. Still, he say’s nothing. When we make it into our bedroom, I go to put some clothes on, but stop dead in my tracks when I hear Luca talking to me.
• “What do you think you are doing? On the bed now.” There was so much anger is his tone that I it made me flinch. I rush over and climb on top of our mattress and wait. Luca strolls over and stands between my legs. I can see him fist and unfisting his hands. He is trying to get his anger uncontrol. The silence is killing me. At least when he yells at me then I know how he is feeling. When he is like this it makes my mind race with so many different thoughts.
