• Lexi’s POV
• Luca has already changed him and is now rocking him to sleep also. If only Luca was always like this. I start thinking, ‘I’m always saying that Luca doesn’t love us, but it’s clear that he does love his children. It’s just me he doesn’t want to be with. I need to leave the kids out of our problems. Speaking of kids, I wonder about the new addition that will be joining our family very soon. I need to go call the doctor.’ I go back the same way I came, so I can check on Mia on the way to get my cell phone.
• I grab up my phone and call my doctor. Not wanting to be disturbed while doing so, I decided to go outside by the pool. I grab the baby monitors and saunter out there. I inform the doc about the baby, and he sets up a time for later this week for an exam. Seeing how I’m not allowed outside the manor; he’ll be coming here. We hang up the phone, and I start scrolling online for baby room themes. I hear the glass door slide open; I peer over my shoulder only to see Luca with a pissed off look on his face. ‘Fuck me what have I done now. Why can’t this man just ever be happy.’ I start standing up while asking him, “is something wrong Luca?” “Inside now,” is the only thing he speaks, before turning on his heels and going back indoors. He doesn’t have to tell me to follow him, I know better not to.
