Chapter 117

• Lexi’s POV
• That morning Luca took me back downstairs and made good on everything he promised to do to me. When the two of us finally come out of our room after spending almost all day in there we head straight to spend time with our babies. Marco, did as he was instructed and came got picked up Kristen. For the first time since, well ever Luca is at home with his family. And all of his attention is on us. He actually has left his phone in our bedroom, so he wouldn’t disturbed. As night came, we both put the children down to bed. After all, four of the kids were asleep we headed towards our bedroom and made love.
• A month’s time has passed and Marco finally came to Luca with the results of the DNA test for Kristen. Even though I said it wouldn’t bother, but in all actuality, it would probably break my heart. Luca just called me and asked me to join him and Marco in his office, so that is where I am headed now. Well, Alice and I. She is starting to teeth and has been such a cranky toddler here lately. The closer I come to my destination the more it seems like my shoes have gotten cement poured in them. How can I be filled with relief and dread at the same time. I stop in the hallway and just think for a couple of minutes of how I should play my next move.
