• I went back to the office, and I kept working on what I was doing, hoping to get my mind off of my backstabbing friends, and I was putting together files on every pack that we were going to go and visit.
• Ethan finally came back to the office and asked if I had eaten, but I said that I would eat later.
• He told me that it was later. It was already past dinner time, and I looked outside and saw that it was dark. The lights had been on in the office all day because the curtains were drawn, and I didn't even know that the whole day had come and gone without me knowing it. I was too wrapped up in what I was doing.
