• He kneeled down next to me and lifted me up from off the ground, and he cradled me in his arms. My skin was hot and clammy, and he was running through a whole bunch of different options that could have made me like this.
• "You could be going into heat." Ethan suggested it, but I shook my head no. "What about being pregnant? Could you be pregnant? It usually happens the first time with an Alpha." Ethan explained.
