Chapter 189

THIRD PERSON POV
Before the sun rose the following morning, everyone was up and already making the hike to the castle of the Lycan King. They all split off into groups so they wouldn't be as recognizable, and once they got close enough to the castle, all of the warriors stopped. Summer double-checked that she had everything that she needed in her bag, and Ethan gave her a reaffirming smile before she went on ahead of the group.
As soon as Summer was close enough to the castle, she scanned the area and found a tall tree that would allow her a clear view of the grounds while also offering her enough foliage to conceal her presence. She carefully climbed it, placing her feet and hands quietly and skillfully on the branches. As she reached a height high enough to see the entire perimeter of the castle grounds, she settled into position, pushing leaves aside just enough to give her a good line of sight.
