Chapter 219

• After hours of combing through those books in the library, we decided to call it a night. We hadn't made any progress, and we were all hungry, so we got something to eat, and everyone went off to their bedrooms to get some rest. The frustration of not finding anything useful was starting to wear on all of us, and the physical and mental exhaustion was impossible to ignore. Still, I couldn't shake the feeling that we were missing something important.
• I couldn't sleep, no matter how hard I tried. My mind kept racing with thoughts of Summer and Lilith and everything else that was going on. So, I went back to the library, determined to keep trying. I kept flipping through pages, scanning lines of text, and trying to find the missing piece of the puzzle. But it was really overwhelming. The sheer volume of information and the unfamiliarity of some of the languages made it feel impossible to get anywhere.
• Just as I was about to give up for the night, someone suddenly spoke in front of me, startling me so badly that I jumped out of my seat and onto my feet.
