I leaned forward again, and I started searching for different things on the dark web. Illegal activities that have been investigated by the werewolf council but where the charges had been suddenly dropped.
It wasn't long before I found a whole bunch of packs where that had happened. Alphas had been accused of dealing in drugs, prostituting teenage she-wolves and even selling omegas's organs on the black market. They were some serious crimes, but they were all dropped very suddenly. Usually right in the middle of an investigation. The werewolf council wouldn't do that unless they were afraid of something. And the only thing that they're afraid of is the Lycan King.
Ethan's is one of the strongest packs in the country, and the werewolf council still won't help him. Which is really saying something. They are not afraid of Ethan, but they are afraid of the king. Which means I need to get to these packs and force them to talk to me. I needed to find out how many warriors we had left.
