Chapter 93

• I sat down at one of the tables with my beer and a burger, and I looked over and saw a group of girls that were all sitting together glaring at me. I remember them from when I first got here, and they were all the women that were hooking up with Ethan before I came along. I hadn't seen them in a while, and I didn't know why they were here now. I knew that they still belonged to the pack and everything, but they had kept their distance until tonight. I didn't know why.
• I saw Ava get up and start strutting over to Ethan while she knew that I was looking, and she draped her arm across his shoulders and pressed her body up to him. I looked at Ethan, but then I looked away as Reagan and Eden both came and sat at the same table as me.
• “Where did you and Ethan disappear to with the warriors?” Eden asked, her tone light and casual, but I could tell she was fishing for something more. She always was.
