• It took two weeks to get the warriors ready, and I believed that I was ready to go after the first pack. I had been spending 10 hours a day in the private training room on my own for the last two weeks.
• People around the pack had noticed my absence, but Ethan explained it away with me doing research in the office. And that I felt somewhat guilty about the whole situation with the Lycan King and depressed about my brother being in his clutches. So I was throwing myself into work to try and find out where this bastard was hiding.
• But when the day came, everyone in the pack came to see us off, but no one knew where we were going. Not even the warriors that were coming with us or the Beta. We couldn't risk a leak to the Lycan King since I was sure that my other friends were spies, but they just weren't bearing his mark.
