• We didn't know how far his reach was. How many packs worked for him? There were hundreds, possibly thousands, of wolf packs around the country. How do we know which ones we could trust? How do we know that Roan isn't the one that just called him? He was definitely the type, with the way he treated his pack and his mate. He reminded me a lot of my father.
