• Chapter Eight
• "Am Mary by name, sorry I don’t have a second name." Mary said, she point to Jacob.
• "That is Jacob, he also don’t have a second name as well." Mary said again, the Lady nods and smile
• "And am Mi Ho by name as well, I don’t remember having a second name as well" the Lady said.
• Mary and Mi Ho lock gaze at one another and burst to a hearty laughter.
• "You are a Chinese." Mary said.
• "Not Chinese entirely, my Mother is Chinese and my father is Korean." Mi Ho said, her hand holds firmly to the rein of the horse.
• "But you speak English fluently." Mary said.
• "Yea, Grandpa had been taking care of me since my parent death, thus I grow and live all my whole life here in Tahit City. So I speak English more than I speak Chinese or Korean, I don’t think I can even speak my native languages." Mi Ho explain.
• "Hmmm, thanks for helping us still.” Mary said, her hand still clutch to the backpack to herself like her life depend on it.
• "Like I said, I need the cash, so don't thank me yet." Mi Ho said, she wipe the horse and it gallop faster.
• They head to the remote part of the Tahit City, Mary keep observing the area very well, though she was very friendly to Mi Ho, still she was very cautious like a Snake, she was only talking to Mi Ho to appear less suspicious.
• Soon the Horses were heading to the countryside, and before jack, the Horse begin to climb a hill, the Horses are fast, but due to the carriage behind, the Horses movement was slow a bit. Finally behind the hill is a remote village, funny enough everybody they came across at the entrance of the village was just staring at Mary, the same thing happen in the village Mary turn to Mi Ho.
• "Is this how people stare at a stranger?" Mary said.
• "Not everyday you see a naked stranger with just bra and panties on." Mi Ho said.
• Mi Ho was smiling, Mary as well smile too, she begin to wave to everybody and funny enough, the people also are waving back at her, Mi Ho laugh.
• "I think they like you." She said.
• "Yea and I like them too." Mary said still waving.
• Mi Ho laugh and she continue to control the Horses, this time the Horses are striding gently, before they count five more houses, Mi Ho stop in front of a hut, she jump down from the carriage and run into the hut, she come out with a man in his early fifties, the man look at Mi Ho with a eyes that spell trouble.
• "Grandfather, you told me never to turn my back on a dying man." Mi Ho said trying to defend herself.
• "Really, when I said a dying man, I don't mean men who look around for death themselves." the old man said.
• Mi Ho covers her eyes with her hand, she knew that her grandfather caught her trick, she quickly decide to use her trump card, she kneel down.
• "Grandfather, please don't let the young man die." Mi Ho said with a pleading eyes.
• "I am only doing this because you ask me nicely." the old man said, he goes back in.
• Mi Ho jumps up in happiness, she come near the cart. "Let's take him inside" she said
• "But we both is not strong enough to take him inside." Mary said.
• "Look around you” Mi Ho said with her arm spread in the air, “there are people all around ask them for help." Mi Ho said finally.
• Mary look around and found many people are outside there hut, she heave out, she turn to the people, she dip her hand in the backpack, she bring out a dollar note from the bag, she raise it up in the air.
• "A dollar for anyone who can take this man in." Mary said.
• To Mary shock nobody move. Mi Ho just stand and rest on the carriage and was looking at the drama going on, Mary turn to her.
• "Did they hate money?" She asked.
• Mi Ho burst to laughter, she climb the carriage and move near Mary, she put her arms on her neck,
• "Sweet Mary, in here Money is nothing to sincerity, cause this people don't know what a dollar worth at all. You only get help if only you command respect from them" Mi Ho said.
• "How do I do that?" Mary asked, she was still in shock.
• "The way you did it when you waving at them, and they respond to your waving." Mi Ho said.
• She stands back and fold his arm, she was looking again, Mary heaved, she out the dollar note back in the bag, she heaved and voice out,
• "Please, my son is dying, I needed help in lifting him in, if you don’t help him in, he will die, because he only have limited time to live." Mary said.
• Like magic the people all draw near, they lift Jacob from the cart and carry her into Mi Ho hut. Mi Ho was smiling where she was standing, Mary turn to her and want to talk, but Mi Ho cut her short, she raise her hand as a sign of stop,
• "Don't start anything because I told you, now let's go get you a change of cloth." Mi Ho said still smiling.
• She jump down from the carriage and enter the hut, Mary also jump down from the carriage, and she follow her into the hut as well. Mary had a bath and Mi Ho give to her some new cloth, it was just a shirt and a long green skirt, Mary change and she go out to where Jacob is been treated, Mi Ho turn to her,
• "Jacob is losing too much blood, we need to transfer blood to his body." Mi Ho said
